Sherry and Bob Dugan are the owners of Alpine Aria Chalet. We have lived in Girdwood for over 30 years.
We are active outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy biking, hiking, mountaineering, kayaking, fishing, back-country and cross-country skiing, and rock and ice climbing.
Our home is next door to the Chalet, so we are easily accessible to answer your questions.
We are members of the Girdwood Chamber of Commerce and the Girdwood Bed and Breakfast Association.
Directions to Alpine Aria Chalet Bed and Breakfast:
Alaska's Seward Highway begins in Seward at milepost 0 and winds north through beautiful wilderness areas to Anchorage.
Girdwood is located at milepost 90 where the Seward Highway intersects Alyeska Highway. Although Girdwood is only 35 miles south
of Anchorage, you will want to allow plenty of time to enjoy the drive along the Turnagain Arm. The scenery is different every
time you travel this section of highway because of the way the tides change the landscape of the Arm.
From the Seward Highway, travel 2.6 miles on Alyeska Highway and turn right onto Timberline Drive.
Go 0.6 miles. We are on the left, 743 Timberline Drive.
